o Location Built in Brisbane Factory and commissioned in site in Port Macquarie.
o Built in 2018 and commissioned and Handed over in 2018 (11 Months Elapsed)
o The CSU Student accommodation project was the design and manufacture of a ‘True’ modular class 3 type construction building in a 3 story configuration. Stages 1 & 2 Consisted of 7 buildings of which 6 building were accommodation in 3 story configuration and a 2 story Administration building.
o The accommodation Modules measured 10.6m long x 3.5m wide and with 2 studios with full ensuite bathrooms per module. There were 16 modules per floor and 3 floors (48 modules total) to create one accommodation block. This project had over 300 over size loads built in Brisbane and transported to Central NSW utlising our preferred transport contractor who specialises in large volume modular haulage – John Sams Transport. The transport contract alone for this project was over $1M (refer Appendix A for design Typology including and Images of the completed development)
o The Modular buildings utilised light weight construction to achieve an FRL of 90/90/90 and incorporated a comprehensive Fire Control System interconnected through the main Fire Instrument Panel (FIP). One of the buildings was specifically designed for people with disabilities and included PWD compliant rooms and a lift to get to each floor.
o Each building (including every door) is controlled through an Electronic Access Control System incorporating the latest in swipe technology and incorporated Energy Saving Devices (ESD) in every room.
